Eco Footprint Awareness Film

Ecoligical Footprint Awareness Film

The Eco Footprint Awareness Film titled The Good, the Bad and The Aware was created to show individuals living in Toronto the different components that contribute to one’s ecological (eco) footprint. Aimed at young adults learning to be independent, the film was written and directed in a manner to allow viewers to relate to it by showing aspects of their life and behaviours, so that it would be easy for the viewers to understand what they do that contributes to their own ecological footprint.

The short film follows 2 fictional individuals and their morning routine while demonstrating examples of what contributes to one’s eco footprint. Later this film was used to display information as part of the TO Green campaign, a campaign which also aims to help people reduce their eco footprint.

Eco Footprint Awareness Comic

Following the same principle as the short film, the comic titled The Good and The Informative follows two fictional individuals through a day of their lives and shows the readers tips to reduce their ecological footprint.

With the understanding that people relate more with a narrative rather than factual information, the comic tries to provide factual information through fictionalized world building and character development.
